CSS Zen Garden Design: 17.02.06
If you’ve read the title, then you’ll see that I did actually submit my work to the Zen Garden, unfortunately I was not accepted into the Official Gallery. Which now, in retrospect, is not a huge surprise as I can see the faults that I made.

Yes, that seems to be the buzzword to create hate, anger and almost every other emotion that you can think of at the moment. People simply hate them at the moment. I’m not really suprised to be honest. At best they’ve done some questionable moves, at worst, they’ve destroyed their future reputation.
Computers... a man's best friend?: 17.12.05
I’m here today to tell the world that the computer has replaced the dog. Or, so it seems.
Next project off the line: 10.12.05
So, today I’ve finally managed to update my portfolio with my latest bit of work. I did the complete modernisation of the Nintendo Gaming fansite, Pikmin Returns. This website basically had been around for a bit, but was left to decay; however, it’s now been completely revamped and tarted right up to as high as it can go.
So, what's been going on then?: 5.12.05
Hi all,
well, today I finally moved over to our new server. So if there was any emails sent during that period, then I’ve not actually received them. I’ve had the server switch on the line all day, so that’s the 5th December.
Other than that, this place has been so dead it’s not even legal anymore. This is simply because I didn’t really know what to write. I thought at first that this place could be just a place for webdesign, but that’s really not going to work. So I’m going to have to attack all of your with my thoughts on larger matters as well.
Anyway, if you head on over to my Portfolio section, you’ll see that I’ve remodelled Rauru’s Return again. This is great as it means that I can stretch my creativity a little bit further; furthermore, there’s also a new site to go up into the portfolio when I’ve completed it, which is imminent.
I’ve also submitted a design to CSS Zen Garden, I don’t know if it’ll get accepted or not. Even if it does not, I’m still dead happy with it. Simply because it’s something a little different for me. When I get the email back stating yay or nay, I’ll show it to you all.
Finally, there’ll be a little rant about Firefox.
Where'd I go?!: 19.11.05
Yes, I am alive. I’ve just not updated in a time that’s almost illegal. I know it’s a disgusting habit, to leave a blog lying dormant, near death; yet, I’m guilty of this. A little too frequently.
I don’t really have any reasoning for this either. I suppose being busy may account for a small portion of my inactivity. Yet, it cannot account for all of it. I’ve even neglected to keep up with the latest news. Which is inexcusable.
Bleh, I need to fall into line more.
One thing I do have to say, as a commentary on a business is: Sony! Wake up. No one wants CDs and other items that fill your computer full of crap that we don’t care for.
Alienating your userbase is one of the worst things you can do. A reputation is destroyed with two words, it takes years to build it.
Not somewhere you'd want to go: 27.10.05
As I was browsing through my ever increasing RSS feed list, I came across the following from Nathan Pitman’s blog.

Brilliant!
One of those days...: 22.10.05
Today has been one of those days. If something could go wrong, then it would. Sod’s law has come into play more than, well, more times than I care to count really. It’s getting beyond a joke to be honest.
I’m one of these people who will first sketch out any new layout for myself, a client or a template on paper first. It is only ever a rough design, just so that I can get the rough idea of how things should be laid out. So what happens, I lift up my notepad too sharply and give myself a paper cut. Now, I know this isn’t exactly horrific, but when it’s just across the underside of your nose, it starts to get incredibly annoying.
Bali Bombings: 3.10.05
It’s so terrible to see another set of life wasted. Although only nineteen people died this time, in comparison to around about two-hundred last time, it’s still a great loss of life.
My thoughts are with the victims families.
Away!: 17.09.05
Yes, I’ve been away. Again! I can hear you all cry. Well, not literally. I’ve just been incredibly busy recently. Getting back into my full time job can kill you sometimes. I love extended periods of leave (re-modelling the place). But to go back. It’s just awful sometimes.
