I’m here today to tell the world that the computer has replaced the dog. Or, so it seems.
The computer can do anything these days, you’re able to read your papers online, thus eliminating the dog bringing it to you. You’re able to get enjoyment from the computer, thus stop playing with the dog. You’re even able to get a virtual dog, just for the kitsch value of it. Completely eliminating the use of a dog.
Yet, the computer does something that’s so far different from a dog it’s impossible. The dog does not keep you awake at night wondering if someone has replied to what you said to it, the dog does not keep you awake at night when you’ve fried it from using it too much and the dog certainly doesn’t keep you awake because you’ve been on it for too long during the day; thus eliminating any chances of sleep approaching you.
The computer, my good people, have many advantageous things about it; however, unlike a dog, a computer should be given as a Christmas present, so remember that.
